Staged readings of three short plays occurred on July 21, 1942, the day before the Great Deportation began. They are based on real people and situations, depicting devastation and courage.

• Interludes of music by Jewish composers performed by: Sophia Kim, flute; Irina Lupinus, piano; Svetlana Garitselov, cello.
• Yiddish poetry reading with English translation.
• Yiddish Songs sung by Elise Wojciechowski, vocals and Cantor Renata Braun.
• The program will be followed by discussion and desserts.
